If your clinician prescribes sermorelin injections, the pharmacy should supply clear directions and a way to get help using them. Many current programs describe subcutaneous administration, which means into the fatty layer beneath the skin. Your own prescription must state the route; do not choose it from an advertisement or a forum.
The first task is to make the instructions workable for you. Difficulty seeing syringe markings, hand tremor, limited reach, or anxiety around needles are useful things to tell the care team. They can affect the training and assistance you need before starting at home.
Get training for your exact prescription and supplies. Resolve any mismatch about route, concentration, or syringe before injecting.
Confirm the route and equipment together
Subcutaneous and intramuscular injections are different procedures. If a webpage mentions one route and the prescription says another, ask the prescriber and pharmacist to reconcile the discrepancy. Do not assume a longer needle or a different location makes the instructions equivalent.
Mayo Clinic's sermorelin reference advises following the doctor's exact directions and learning the preparation and administration steps. Ask the pharmacist to demonstrate using the actual syringe type provided, including how the prescribed liquid volume corresponds to its scale.

Where can sermorelin be injected?
For a prescribed subcutaneous medicine, clinicians may teach use of areas with suitable fatty tissue, such as the abdomen or thigh. The appropriate site, its exact location, and the technique depend on the person's prescription and training. Ask the clinician to identify suitable areas on you rather than copying an image.
Also ask how to rotate sites and which areas to avoid, including irritated or damaged skin. A spot that is easy to reach is not automatically suitable. Do not repeatedly inject into a painful area or change to a deeper route in an attempt to prevent stinging.
Prepare a routine you can repeat clearly
Before using the medicine, make sure you can identify the vial, read the label, match the supplies to the directions, and explain the steps back to the pharmacist. Ask which cleaning steps are required and where to put used equipment immediately afterward.
Use a new sterile needle and syringe for each injection and never share supplies. Keep the work area uncluttered and supplies away from children and pets. If you touch a sterile part accidentally or drop equipment, ask how to replace it rather than improvising a cleaning method.

Stinging, itching, redness, and swelling
Local discomfort and redness are described in the historical medicine reference, but a reaction should not be dismissed simply because someone online calls it common. Tell the care team about worsening pain, spreading redness, warmth, drainage, fever, or a persistent lump. Those findings need assessment rather than a technique experiment.

Dispose of sharps as part of each dose
The FDA recommends appropriate sharps disposal to prevent injuries to household members and waste handlers. Have a suitable puncture-resistant sharps container ready before the first injection. Follow local disposal rules, and ask the pharmacist when and how to replace the container.
Do not put loose needles in recycling or leave them on a counter for later. Travel requires a disposal plan too. A successful training session should cover the whole routine: identifying the prescription, preparing the correct supplies, using the taught technique, and safely putting everything away.
If the injection site becomes irritated
